Meeting Baby Sister Edith!

While Edith, mommy, and daddy were in the hospital recovering, grandma and grandpa brought North by to visit each day. It was so great seeing our two little siblings getting their first moments to bond.

North was a bit shy and nervous around her at first

But was eventually brave enough to hold her

And North loved hanging out on the hospital beds and watching cartoons.

Countdown to baby sister...

In the final days of North's only child status, we had some quiet time around Virginia getting ready for our baby girl's arrival. North enjoyed getting some time with daddy, grandma, grandpa, and Ender while we all geared up for the baby to come.

Warm weather hair...

North's hair was getting a bit scraggly looking so we figured it was time to give him a new cut. He requested a mohawk and Alan and I were of course on board with that choice. Here he is showing off his new 'do (and his toy Count Dooku).

Visiting Very Large Vermin (A Giant Mouse and Bunny to be Precise)

Last weekend we took North to Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch--a big treat that he LOVED. He had such fun spending his tokens, running around like a crazy 3 year old, and saying hello to the mouse himself, Chuck E. Cheese.

He enjoyed the ride on toys until he discovered the magical world of tickets (and the fact that they can be redeemed for prizes--though he did aspire for prizes well beyond his ticket earning capabilities).

The next day we had a few things to pick up at the mall and while there stopped by for a visit to the Easter Bunny. North was excited to have a little visit.
