Warm weather hair...

North's hair was getting a bit scraggly looking so we figured it was time to give him a new cut. He requested a mohawk and Alan and I were of course on board with that choice. Here he is showing off his new 'do (and his toy Count Dooku).

Visiting Very Large Vermin (A Giant Mouse and Bunny to be Precise)

Last weekend we took North to Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch--a big treat that he LOVED. He had such fun spending his tokens, running around like a crazy 3 year old, and saying hello to the mouse himself, Chuck E. Cheese.

He enjoyed the ride on toys until he discovered the magical world of tickets (and the fact that they can be redeemed for prizes--though he did aspire for prizes well beyond his ticket earning capabilities).

The next day we had a few things to pick up at the mall and while there stopped by for a visit to the Easter Bunny. North was excited to have a little visit.

We are ready for Easter!

North's Third Cherry Blossom Festival!

Alan was able to work from home for a few days last week and spend another weekend with us before heading out of town again. It was great timing because our unseasonably warm weather as of late caused the cherry blossoms to come a bit early this year--we were glad he was able to be here while they were in bloom and we could all go downtown to join in the celebration. This was North's third year getting to see DC during its beautiful blooming season (see here [my phone with all of our other pictures from that year was destroyed before I ever got to post pictures] and here for previous years).

While downtown we decided to get dinner at ShopHouse--yum!

It was so nice to have Alan around for a few days! And such a relief that there are only 6 more days left before the baby arrives that he will be out of town!
