Washington DC

Last week we headed to DC--for Bridgett it was work and for Alan and North it was a good chance to tag along on a trip and get out of town.
It was a great trip--busy and brief--we had a lovely time though.

North was great on the planes and liked hanging out with us at the airport waiting for our flight

Being silly in the airport

He also liked riding around on the Metro while we were there--a change of pace from his usual car-seat travel situation

He liked our hotel room. The hotel provided a crib for him which was nice.
He especially like the closet with mirrored doors.

We even caught him kissing the baby in the mirror on a few occassions.

DC was chilly but in bloom during our visit.

We went out for Ethiopian one night. North got to eat the bread (Injera) which he seemed to like.

North also took his first dip in a swimming pool on our trip. He wasn't a big fan (he prefers steamy bath water) but he had some fun.

too much time with our camera

North loves playing guitar

He still loves his drum though too (or at least the drumstick).

Spring!

It's warm--again!
We enjoyed lots of time outside this weekend.

new toy!

Yesterday North got a new toy. It rolls and is large enough for him to pull up on and walk around with. So fun.

Pi Day!

Yesterday was 3.14--Pi Day! We celebrated with PiE. Well--the adults did. North watched. And ate some puffs.

9 months!

North is now 9 months old!
He's also got about 6 teeth now (3 came in pretty much at once this past weekend--both maxillary central incisors and his right maxillary cuspid).
Yesterday was his 9 month doctor's appointment. His proportions are as follows:
Weight:19.2lbs - 25th Percentile (slim)
Height: 28in - 50th Percentile (average)
Head Size: 47cm - 90th Percentile (giant brain)
Some pictures of his new, increasingly toothy grin (and slightly booger-y nose):

North and Ender continue to be best friends
