Last week we headed to DC--for Bridgett it was work and for Alan and North it was a good chance to tag along on a trip and get out of town. It was a great trip--busy and brief--we had a lovely time though.
North was great on the planes and liked hanging out with us at the airport waiting for our flight
Being silly in the airport
He also liked riding around on the Metro while we were there--a change of pace from his usual car-seat travel situation
He liked our hotel room. The hotel provided a crib for him which was nice. He especially like the closet with mirrored doors.
We even caught him kissing the baby in the mirror on a few occassions.
DC was chilly but in bloom during our visit.
We went out for Ethiopian one night. North got to eat the bread (Injera) which he seemed to like.
North also took his first dip in a swimming pool on our trip. He wasn't a big fan (he prefers steamy bath water) but he had some fun.
How wonderful! Yes, DC is beautiful this time of year. The one time we got to go (Rusty's graduation) they were in full bloom and it was so lovely! Looks like you enjoyed yourselves :)
Welcome to North's Blog where I will try to give updates and post pictures of North (and the rest of us) as he learns all about the world and how to do new things.
