While in Indiana we celebrated North's 3rd birthday! He had such fun opening presents and eating cake!

Bloomington..

While in Indiana, we couldn't help ourselves from taking a little trip to Bloomington and visiting our old hometown. We all loved the chance to see our old stomping grounds and catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a year. It was so great for me to stop by my old office and North loved getting to see his old classmates! I neglected to take many photos but did manage to snap a few

Visiting Bloomington sure made us "homesick" for Indiana and our old friends and colleagues.

Indianapolis Zoo...

While in Indy, we also couldn't help but visit one of North's very favorite places--the Indianapolis Zoo! Grandma, Grandpa, and Nana were able to come with us for a really fun visit.

As always, his very favorite spot was the sprinkler park.

Indianapolis Children's Museum

After leaving Nana and Grandad's, we headed to Indianapolis to stay with Grandma and Grandpa. While there we also got to visit with Nanny and Papa and have our pictures taken by Sam!--while in town, we took a trip to the Children's museum with Sam, Levi, and Linc! North, as always, adored getting to spend time with Lincoln and had an amazing time exploring the museum with his pal!

Nana and Grandad's

Over Memorial day weekend and North's birthday, Alan and I took some time off work and headed to Indiana with North for a week. It was a great time. We started the trip at Nana and Grandad's where North got to catch up with his cousins. He had a lot of fun spending time with Connor, Madi, and Clay!

North loves the ride-on toys! (Although driving them is not yet his strong suit)

And he had a great time visiting the Terre Haute Children's Museum!

Connor, Madi, and North particularly liked a little runway for racing computer simulated animals.

Celebrating his birthday with Madi and Aunt Angie who also have birthdays in late May/early June!
