Fun times at pre-school

We couldn't be happier with North's pre-school.  He absolutely loves going to class each day.  And every now and then they send us photos from their grand adventures.  Here are some of those:
The meadow!  North's favorite class-time adventure spot.  He recently informed us that the meadow at his school is the belly button of the entire world!
He has been asking for months to get to write with a feather--his amazing teachers Sky and Licia made it happen!
Picnic snack time!
Exploring!
Quorra and daddy picking up North!
Gathering around the table to bake some goodies! Pumpkin seeds!  They scooped them, cleaned them, salted them, baked them, and ate them for snack!
Hammering away at the work bench!
Gathered together for an art project - painting leaved and acorns!
North and Keats when they were learning about Indian cultures- Keats moved and North really misses him.  They were great pals.
Snack time!
For a while these seed pods were North's favorite thing in the world.  I'm still finding them in various nooks and crannies of our house.
Harvesting some more seed pods
Playing games
Heading to the meadow!
Art project with Jack - exploring letters
Sky does fabulous white board drawings each day illustrating the classroom adventures
Enjoying large building materials
Every day North brings home some sticks.  It's his thing.
Playground time!
Finding a praying Mantis
Story time
More picnics
Mixing colors and shaving cream
Another art project
Examining a cicada!
The cicada in question
The boys building a fortress
Story time
Checking out some of the class critters with Nathan
Making a new quiver
Playing outside
New class insects
North showing off his journal
Class band
Musical chairs
Seashells!
Spraying dyes into flour to see the effects and mixtures they can create

North has such a great time each day!  He has made such great friends and loves his teachers so much.  We couldn't be more thrilled that he's in the classroom he is.
