Thanksgiving

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Arizona.  It was a wonderful day, full of good food and time with family---and even swimming.

The weekend before Thanksgiving Papa passed away and so we traveled to Arizona to attend his funeral and be with Nanny.

 Catching our flight.

Gathering together with family at Great-uncle Greg and Great-aunt Pam's after the funeral service on Wednesday.
 Quorra crawled everywhere

Nanny was, as always, lovely at the service.  Here she is with one of her and Papa's friends.

North had a great time running around and jumping around with Olivia.

Lots of photos with Nanny and grandma

North also really loved tackling Nick.  He just adored getting to rough house with his second cousin.

Olivia was great with Quorra.  She helped give her a bottle.

Mike helped North to more effectively wrestle Nick by helping to hold him down.

Quorra was, as always, sweet as can be.

Everyone had fun with her -- here she is charming Nanny and Great-uncle Greg.

North and Olivia were pretty much inseparable during the visit (when he wasn't jumping on Nick)

 Tackling practice.

 Quorra found a balloon

She loves grandpa!

North getting a piggy back ride.  He really loved how tall Nick is!
Olivia and North piling on Nick!

Thanksgiving day we swam in the hotel pool before dinner.

Everyone enjoyed the warm weather

After dinner we of course made gingerbread houses.

There were, of course, some messes made along the way

Kimmy's and Nick's collapsed

 North's came out all-right

The Friday after Thanksgiving we flew back home.  We had some delays so spent lots of time in airports that day.

Thankfully we found some spots for North to play

Both he and Q enjoyed the kids area of the Las Vegas airport.

In Texas we walked around the terminals and had fun looking at the George Bush sculpture. North thought it was supposed to be superman.
After getting back to Indiana, the kiddos were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Milner side of the family at Nana and Grandad's.

Quorra and North enjoyed time with Connor, Madi, and Clay.

Madi's always so good with Quorra!

They enjoyed a fire in the backyard at Nana and Grandad's

On Sunday was an ISU Women's Basketball Game.

North and Clay had fun pretending the pom-poms were hair.
