Trick-or-Treat!

Whew!--don't know about other parts of the country but DC was a pretty happening place to be last weekend! We Milners had a pretty fabulous, non-stop fun kind of time.
Friday we grabbed some pizza from Lost Dog Cafe which has proven to be the greatest pizza place on the planet--and none of us can get enough. We seem to find ourselves there a lot lately.
Then on Saturday, we met up with some friends old and new and headed downtown for the Rally to Restore Sanity (and/or Fear)! We love Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert and so we, along with 250,000 other people headed to the mall to participate in the big event. There were SO MANY people and it was such an amazing day outside. We were so thrilled to get to be a part of it all.
North loved the music and the excitement of having so many people around--he was a great little guy all day long.

Grabbing some dinner on the walk back to our townhouse from the Metro. We spent the day with an old friend of Alan's from his Sony days and got to know the friends that he was traveling with. So nice to make new friends! It was a wonderful time.

Then Sunday was Halloween!!!--we carved pumpkins, drank cider, caught a movie at the cheap theater we found (Despicable Me--which was super cute) and got ready for trick-or-treating! This year North was Yoda! He seemed to prefer passing out candy over going to neighbors' houses but all in all seemed to have a pretty fun time getting lots of candy. While trick-or-treating he kept looking at me and exclaiming "They're SHARING candy!"

Enjoying some of his bounty!
